Hi-there blog readers, it's been a while. Everybody welcome Matt-T, Shane-R, Jen-S, and the rest of the pasadena posse.
A brief update on what's going on-
I'm going to Ethiopia this summer (July 10-25) with a team from my church. I'll try to write more on that in the future.
I'm learning to play the Bass. I've had it for about a month, and played last night with our church worship team. I think it went pretty well for just learning 5 songs the night before (on an instrument that I don't really know how to play yet!)
My friends Nick and Jen just had their first baby, Samuel. (wait, I think I know someone else with a baby named Samuel...)
Monday nights are still going strong with VLI (vineyard leadership institute)
Tuesday nights are missions prayer in el garage
Wednesday is Val's small group
Thursday is free or monthly VX meeting
Friday is for fun!
Saturday is for riding my bike, seeing friends, gardening in the sun, worship practice, monthly VLI class
Sunday is for praying and evening church service
